cheers...

since being diagnosed with celiac disease and thus named the anti-wheat, i have become quite the vodka connoisseur.

to be fair, i was in all likelihood well on my way to this title before the diagnosis, but the removal of beer as a form of libation really expedited the process.

with that said... this is my new favorite:

it's oat based. and delicious. and smooth. and local proving that there are some utahans who can still raise their glasses to a new elevation!

high west distilleries is based in park city and started with whiskey which i would also be enjoying if it wasn't part of the food group that was killing me softly!

their liquor is delectable, their distillery is gorgeous
and their co-founder, though slightly ostentatious, is hilariously beneficial for utah's bad rap as a dry state. what more could you ask for??
