i am living proof

i have unruly hair...or at least it feels unruly to me. it's uniquely curly and thick. and in paris i had a lot of it. today it's much shorter (and i am still regretting last year's "no, go shorter"), but the is neither here nor there. the point is that it's a lot of maintenance, which used to include a rather inventive cocktail of styling products.

but a few months ago my whole hair life changed thanks to four genius scientists.

living proof's, no frizz is a magical cream whose bottle preaches about the woes of frizz and the reality that it's been 30 years since someone came up with new technology in the battle against frizz. but now the boys in the cambridge, ma labs have revolutionized our weapons against the evil frizz.

"The brainchild of a talented team of hair aficionados lead by an MIT professor, the goal was to find a breakthrough solution "from a physics standpoint" and not through the standard methods of creating a typical beauty product. Instead of traditional silicone-based solutions, Living Proof set out to create efficient formulas based on entirely new molecules using advanced technology, so your toughest hair challenges are solved from a fresh, new perspective. The result is a comprehensive collection of cutting-edge, humidity-resistant formulas that work for all hair types. Whether you prefer it curly or straight, the road to silkier strands just got that much smoother"...thank you sephora!

and you know with all that science they can't be kidding around. when before i used to use four products each morning so i could spend the rest of the day carefully de-crunching my curls just in case someone might happen to touch my hair, while also pray no one did so that i could get through the day without looking fuzzy. i now only use this, and walk around with the softest shiniest hair that is full of perfectly shaped curls.

clearly i am in love!
