let it be stated that i have an enslavement to my nails.

nakedness and chips will not due. and they have to be dark. before they had to be french, but after eight years of that i finally got the acrylic out of my system and now they have to be dark. well and with this fixation i have on my nails looking just right, i get a lot of questions about nail upkeep.

well first of all... thank you for appreciating my obsessive compulsion. beyond that though i have it down to a science. i paint them twice a week (yes i have designated days for such a task) and quite a process.

to begin with, obviously the shorter they are the less likely they are to chip

then i live for creative nail design's stickey base coat

and then to finish i usually top with two products, a diamond strength top coat and then creative nail design's air dry top coat.

after that i am usually chip free for a good three to four days.

and the other day i forced the beauty supply ladies to sell me two of opi's new matte colors before they were out on the floor and i have to say i am completely enamoured with them and dreaming about the third color i will go and get next week.
